Alright so today I felt like digging into some football nostalgia and remembered Ramires, that Chelsea workhorse. Figured a highlights reel would hit the spot. Started by just scrolling through old match archives on my hard drive – dude played so many games it took forever.
Ripping Clips Like a Madman
First thing was hunting down key moments everyone talks about. Booted up Final Cut and began chopping footage like a butcher. That Barcelona chip? Spent ages syncing the crowd noise just right. Then the FA Cup volley against Spurs – accidentally deleted my first three edits cause my coffee table’s a minefield.
The Grind of Sorting & Timing
Now came the annoying part:
- Dumped every decent clip into a messy timeline
- Realized half the angles were garbage potato quality
- Had to re-time goal celebrations because UEFA’s copyright bots scare me
- Forgot to mute some commentator swearing and had to re-export twice
Making It Actually Watchable
Threw on some royalty-free techno that sounded like FIFA soundtrack rejects. Added basic text captions with yellow fonts (Chelsea colors, obviously) but they kept glitching. Spilled energy drink on my keyboard midway – had to blow dry it before rendering. Upload took ages since my Wi-Fi’s slower than John Terry’s 40-yard dash.
Final result looks decent though. Forgot how much dirty work that guy did – endless running, crucial goals. Might redo it later if I find better Napoli footage, but honestly? My back hurts from hunching over this crap all day. Worth it for that Barcelona goal alone.
