Premier League Map Where? Discover Teams and Stadiums Easily

How This Mess Started

Right, so yesterday I was trying to settle a debate with my mate Dave. He insisted Manchester was close to London “since they’re both big Premier League teams.” My jaw literally dropped. This sparked my idea: why not make a dead simple map showing where every Premier League team actually is? No fancy jargon, just “Team A plays HERE.”

Fumbling Through the First Try

My dumb brain went straight for complicated tools first. Tried loading up some fancy map builder that needed 30 minutes just to understand the interface. Got overwhelmed after clicking around for ten minutes – way too many buttons nobody needs. Closed that tab so fast.

Next bright idea: Google Sheets! Just slapped team names and stadium locations into columns. Looked like a messy shopping list:

  • Manchester United Old Trafford Manchester
  • Chelsea Stamford Bridge London
  • WTF is Bournemouth even near? Vitality Stadium ???

Yeah… useless. Couldn’t picture anything. Needed proper map pins.

The Lightbulb Moment

Remembered this basic online map tool I used years ago for plotting pubs. Dug it up – simple drag-and-drop thing with zero learning curve. Created a new map called “Premier League Dump.” Then the real work began: hunting down every single stadium location accurately.

Googled like crazy: “Arsenal stadium exact pin.” Cross-checked same stadium on three different sites. Some addresses were stupid vague. Liverpool’s Anfield? Map kept pointing to a random fish and chip shop down the road. Took ages to place 20 pins correctly.

Making It Actually Useful

Clicked each pin and renamed them properly:

  • West Ham – London Stadium (not just “London”)
  • Not just “Spurs” – Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Made colors match team kits – red for Liverpool, blue for Chelsea etc. Zoomed out to see the whole UK. Honestly shocked how far north Newcastle actually is from everyone else!

Shared the map with Dave. His exact reaction: “Whoa… Brighton’s nowhere near Manchester!” Mission accomplished.

Why Bother Doing This?

Point is – you don’t need flashy tech for basic stuff. Took me maybe two hours total, mostly because of bad data. Now anyone confused like Dave can see the league geography instantly. No more arguments over distances. Just shows every club’s home turf.
