Why I Decided to Dig into This
So, the other day, I was watching a football match with my buddy Jim, and he started yapping about how Barcelona always beats Espanyol. Like, “Dude, it’s a total no-brainer.” But I wasn’t so sure. I mean, I’m just an average guy who loves the game and keeps a blog about my little projects. But Espanyol isn’t all losers; they had a sweet streak in the 1990s. Then I put this all into a PDF because, hey, I wanted to share it on my blog someday.
Wrapping It Up
In the end, what I learned was that it’s not just “Barcelona always wins.” Espanyol sneaks in surprises now and then, especially when they’re fired up at home. But yeah, overall, Barcelona rules this town. The whole thing took me days, with coffee spills all over my desk. Would I do it again? Probably not—it was a headache—but now when Jim talks smack, I can shut him down with facts. Football stats are fun, but only if you’ve got the time to hunt them down.
