Could Rodrigo be the piece of the puzzle Arsenal need?
Former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson recently said that if Arsenal can sign Real Madrid’s Rodrigo this summer, then they have a chance of winning major trophies next season.

“Rodrigo plays mainly on the wing and what we need most at the moment is a winger. But if we can sign both Rodrigo and a top 9, it’s a different story. Saka can play on the right, Rodrigo on the left and with a winger, such an attacking combination would make the team very competitive.
Indeed, Arsenal now have a couple of wingers in Martinelli and Trossard. But they are not as consistent as Saka, with their form coming and going, which makes it hard to fully trust them. As for Sterling, he has decided to play for Chelsea again. So from that perspective, Rodrigo could be just the man Arsenal need.
However, it won’t be easy to buy Rodrigo. While Real Madrid are interested in keeping him, they could also sell him this summer. Real Madrid are reportedly looking for at least £85 million in transfer fees. And it’s worth noting that Rodrigo didn’t play a single minute in Real Madrid’s loss to Barcelona, which has led to speculation that his future may not really be at the Bernabeu.
