The explosion from the crowd afterwards was wild. That’s why he’s the GOAT, simple as.
Chaos & Heartbreak
Thought Al-Rayyan had it wrapped up near the end, they scored a third goal on a counter. Looked clean at first glance. Went frame-by-frame… and there it is. Offside! Barely! The attacker’s shoulder was leaning past the last defender. VAR spotted it, thankfully, otherwise that would’ve been so unfair. The relief on the Al-Nassr players’ faces was massive.
The Winner
Into stoppage time now. All seemed lost for Al-Nassr. Ball gets punted forward in desperation. Some clumsy defending from Al-Rayyan, doesn’t clear it properly. Falls to, guess who, Ronaldo again! Left foot, sharp turn inside the box, rockets it into the roof of the net. Pandemonium! What a way to steal it at the death. Celebrated like I scored it myself.
So yeah, took me hours to scrub through everything, slow things down, replay key incidents, but found these five moments that really shaped the whole game:
