How I Got Into This Mess
So, I was sitting on my couch last night, flipping through football channels, and Al-Nassr came on with Ronaldo scoring a goal.
My buddy texted me right after, asking when Al-Nassr last played Al-Ittihad—those Saudi teams always clash hard.
I told him I didn’t know off the top of my head, but figured I could dig it up real quick.
My Messy Research Adventure
I grabbed my phone, opened Google, and typed “Al-Nassr vs Al-Ittihad past matches last time”.
Boom, tons of sites showed up—some looked fishy, others were just full of ads.
I clicked on a few, but the info was all over the place. One said early 2023, another said something about 2024.
Got annoyed after a bit, so I switched to trying official league pages, but they were slow and mostly in Arabic.
Took forever to navigate. I even tried digging into fan forums, where people argued about old games.
Stayed up way too late, my eyes hurt from all the scrolling, and coffee was my best friend at that point.
What I Finally Uncovered
After hours of this chaos, I stumbled on a solid source: their last match was December 1, 2023.
Yeah, it ended in a draw, from what I pieced together. Crazy how easy it is for things to get twisted online.
All that work just to answer a simple question—I need to stop overpromising to friends about research.
