Alright so this morning I was sipping coffee scrolling my phone when I saw my buddy post something about Egyptian football. Got me wondering – who’s actually winning their league right now? Figured I’d check myself and jot down how it went.
First thing – opened the sports app I always use, searched “Egyptian league”. Nothing. Just old stuff about some U21 match from weeks ago. Dead end. Switched to the browser, typed in “Egyptian premier league today”. Still junk – some Moldovan team stats popped up? Weird. Almost gave up.
Then I spotted a fresh article from today listing weekend games. Jackpot! Here’s what I grabbed:
- Zamalek crushed Masry 3-0 yesterday! Damn.
- Ceramica Cleopatra edged Smouha 1-0.
- Future vs Gaish hasn’t kicked off yet – happening later.
- Today’s big game? ENPPI vs Al Ahly. Still waiting on that one.
Scrolled further into this table – looks important. Zamalek’s sitting pretty with 9 goals so far. Top scorers?
- Degmoum from Masry leads with 4 goals (even after their loss!)
- Three players tied at 3 goals: Sayed (Masry), Atia (ZED FC), Amsalem (Ceramica)
Checked the time stamps – all updated this morning. Felt good knowing I wasn’t reading stale news. Still annoyed Future vs Gaish wasn’t loaded though – that game’s literally happening now while I type this. Why can’t sites update faster?
So yeah – Zamalek’s flexing hard, Degmoum’s banging in goals for fun, and everyone’s waiting to see if Al Ahly dominates later. That’s what I dug up since breakfast. Might check back tonight for ENPPI vs Ahly scores… if they ever post ’em.
