So yesterday this friend texts me asking about the Napoli-Torino stats and honestly I blanked. Thought to myself “crap I don’t even know how to find match stats properly”. Time to dive in.
Started with total nonsense methods
First I just googled “Napoli Torino stats” like a proper boomer. Results? Trash. Random forums, old tweets shouting SCREAM GOAL, betting sites screaming 100% WIN PREDICTIONS – all useless garbage. Felt dumb already.
Okay fine maybe the official club sites? Went to Napoli’s site. Nope. Torino’s? Even worse. Just ticket sales and merch ads screaming at me. Seriously useless for stats.
Panicked and installed every app imaginable
Grabbed my phone and smashed the “install” button on like five different sports apps. Most were trash:
- App #1: Tried to charge $10/month just to see possession stats? Deleted.
- App #2: Full screen video ads after EVERY click. Uninstalled fast.
- App #3: Actually showed stats… from LAST SEASON. Bruh.
Phone storage was crying. Almost threw the thing against the wall.
Stumbled into something halfway decent
Okay deep breath. Went back to Google but actually scrolled down past the ads and fake sites. Saw one page that looked slightly less sketchy. Clicked it. FINALLY.
Found a proper stats table. Saw possession numbers – Napoli had way more ball obviously. Shots? Napoli like 15, Torino 4 or something weak. Scrolled for fouls, yellows… basic numbers were there.
Big realization:
Turns out you need to look for pages that say “match center” or “stats zone” instead of just news. Sounds stupid obvious now but yeah, took me a while.
Then things got confusing again
Wanted deeper stats. Like passes completed or dribbles. Back to the stats table. Found a bunch of weird icons. Hovered over one – it meant “passing accuracy”. Another icon was “big chances created”. Okay useful… but why icons? Just use words!
Tried finding expected goals (xG)… which page was that on?! Felt like navigating a maze built by a drunk architect. Switched tabs back and forth like ten times.
How I finally understood the mess
- Saw the lineup section first: Told me who actually played and who got benched. Big deal.
- Team stats tables are KEY: Found them tucked under player ratings. Possession, shots on/off target, corners, fouls… all sitting there. Could compare Napoli column vs Torino column.
- Player stats are endless scrolling: Seriously scrolled forever. Top passer? Lobotka probably. Tackles? Some defender Torino guy.
- Heatmaps looked cool: Basically showed Napoli camped in Torino’s half. Shocker.
Honestly? It still kinda sucked. Took forever clicking around different sections finding bits and pieces. But hey, got the numbers I wanted for that friend. Screenshotted everything like a madman before the site could refresh or break. Whatever actually worked.
