Decided I wanted to see Stamford Bridge up close while planning my London trip. Started by grabbing my phone and searching for how to visit Chelsea’s stadium. Remembered tours get fully booked, so jumped straight into booking.
Finding The Right Page
Typed “book Chelsea stadium tour” into Google. Clicked the first proper-looking result that wasn’t an ad. Took forever to find the actual tour section – had to dig through menus labeled “Stadium & Museum”.
Choosing Tour Options
Saw three tour types: Standard, Legends, and Stadium & Museum. Picked Standard since it was cheapest. Calendar showed available dates in green. Scrolled months ahead because summer slots disappear fast. Found a Tuesday morning opening 3 weeks out.
- Ticket Selection: Chose 1 adult, 1 senior. Prices popped up immediately
- Timing Woes: 10am slot was grayed out, almost panicked. Took 11:45am instead
Checkout Headaches
Got forced to create an account before paying. Password rules were annoying – needed capitals AND symbols. Entered credit card carefully. Card verification took three tries because I kept mistyping the 3-digit code. Almost threw my laptop.
Finally got the “Booking Confirmed” screen with a big green tick. Saved the PDF ticket to my phone and cloud immediately. Also scribbled down the booking reference number on a sticky note just in case.
Whole process took 25 minutes mainly because of the calendar scrolling and account setup. Pro tip: Book at least a month early for weekend slots or you’re screwed. Had zero issues showing the digital ticket at the gate though!
