Double-checked against the leaks. Pretty much spot on. Felt a wave of relief mixed with annoyance. All that stress for info they release precisely when they feel like it. The leaks were decently close, just unconfirmed.
The Aftermath: Confusion Reigns Anyway
You’d think it’s settled? Ha. Scrolled Twitter. Saw Arsenal fans arguing about the right-back spot – the official graphic showed one guy, but some news sites listed a different player. Total chaos for 10 minutes until pundits clarified.
Even with the “official” announcement, some outlets managed to mess it up. Saw memes flooding timelines about wrong lineups getting posted. Just proves you can’t fully relax until you see the teamsheet picture. Those leaks, sketchy as they were, actually came through faster than the blurry text listings on the apps.
End result? Got what I needed, but it took way more effort and refresh-button pounding than anyone should endure just for a list of names. Why can’t clubs just drop it cleanly at, say, the 60-minute mark? Nope, gotta keep us sweating.
