Liverpool FC Starting XI Against Nottingham Forest Confirmed Team List
Right then, so yesterday was matchday for Nottingham Forest vs Liverpool, and I wanted to know the confirmed lineup early. Couldn’t find it on the telly quick enough, so I grabbed me phone and went straight to the official club app – been burned before by dodgy fan accounts spreading nonsense lineups.
Tapped through the pre-match section real slow, ’cause that app’s menus change like the weather. Saw “TEAM NEWS” flashing near the top and pressed it fast. First thing loaded was a big photo of Klopp smirking – typical delay tactics. Scrolled down past three ads for * shop and finally spotted the section: Starting XI.
Made a cuppa while the squad list loaded proper. Here’s what popped up:
- Alisson (thank god, no backup keeper drama)
- Alexander-Arnold back at right-back (finally fit!)
- Konaté paired with Van Dijk (solid)
- Robertson charging down left
- Midfield trio: Szoboszlai, Mac Allister, Jones (Gravenberch benched?)
- Salah wide right, Núñez up front
- Díaz on the left (Gakpo nowhere seen)
Checked me notes from last match – Klopp kept Núñez instead of Jota even after that sitter miss. Reckon he’s giving the lad confidence. Noticed Curtis Jones starting again though, bit surprised since Endo’s been decent lately.
Took a screenshot just as the missus shouted about wet boots in the hallway. By time I sorted that mess, lineup’d gone viral everywhere. Double-checked Twitter quick – saw 200 posts claiming Gomez was starting over Trent. Ffs, muppets don’t refresh feeds.
Best bit? Núñez actually scored in the first half. Maybe me lineup refresh ritual works!
